Growing up working in his father’s lawn care business, Chase earned a marketing degree from the University of Louisville and returned to the family business to grow it. He turned to social media in 2018 to deliver satisfying content showing his crazy mowing designs and patterns, as well as entertaining and funny commentary and skits. Now, Case has become an authority in the space, evolving his content and tapping into a new clientele of celebrities and big-name corporations.
What home gadget or tool should every homeowner own?
For lawn care, I don’t think you can hardly get by without some sort of blower, whether it be handheld or a backpack. I’ve seen some homeowners use brooms and it’s painful for me to watch.
Are you a plant fanatic, or is your green thumb lacking?
I have loved plants and greenery for just about my whole life. I find topiary very fascinating, especially how some of the European mansions are boxwood gardens with massive hedges.
What’s your favorite HGTV series?
Growing up, me and my family would watch extreme home makeover on Sundays, so I would say that is my favorite series.
In your opinion what’s the most underrated tool in your toolbox?
A multitool power head, which is an interchangeable power head.
What project are you currently working on?
Not necessarily a project, but I am in the process of moving homes and relocating to a larger home to better accommodate my growing family.

Tips for big outdoor impact in landscaping or curb appeal?
Landscape lighting goes a long way and enhances the look of a home, especially for not breaking the bank regarding cost.
What is your favorite type of music to listen to when you’re working?
I am a big podcast guy while I am working and usually that is either sports content or social media marketing content.
What’s your next home project?
When I move into my new home, the first order of business is to install an irrigation system if one is not already in place at the home. Critical for those late summer, dry months.
What do you enjoy about being at a home show?
The obvious answer would be seeing new trends that companies are coming out with. Another answer would be getting feedback from what consumers are doing and how they went about their projects.
What is an outdated home trend you hope doesn’t come back?
Regarding landscaping, my pet peeve is when people use landscape fabric under mulch. It creates many problems later down the line. Only time I recommend landscape fabric is when installing rock or stone.
